Cowboys blunders help Seattle regain lead

The Cowboys built up a 17-10 lead in the first half by dominating the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

Their lead would have been even bigger without a special teams blunder that led to a blocked punt and Seattle touchdown in the first quarter. Another special teams miscue helped the Seahawks tie the game.

Dwayne Harris muffed a punt and the Seahawks recovered on the Dallas 14-yard line. Russell Wilson cashed in the field position two plays later with a nine-yard sprint for a touchdown. Wilson didn't have to wait long to get back to work.

Travis Frederick snapped the ball to Tony Romo while Romo was signaling to the team's receivers and Jordan Hill fell on the ball to set the Seahawks up on the 20-yard line. The Cowboys defense didn't budge, but a Steven Hauschka field goal still put the home team back on top 20-17 with a little more than three minutes to go in the third quarter.
