A wintry weather system is expected to move through central Oklahoma Thursday night and leave behind some sleet and snow. Sleet will be possible in the Oklahoma City metro between noon and 5 p.m., according to The National Weather Service Forecast Office in Norman.


The heaviest precipitation is expected later Thursday night between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m. Forecasters say we could see up to 6 inches of sleet and snow in some areas.
