Protest over wages planned at Walmart store in OKC


OKLAHOMA - In the sea of shoppers this Black Friday, there will also some protesters at one retail giant in central Oklahoma.


Some people who are upset with the amount of money Walmart pays their employees will protest outside a busy metro store Friday.


The Central Oklahoma Community Forum is planning a protest today at the Walmart on Northwest Expressway and Council in Oklahoma City.


The group issued a press release saying, 'Walmart is ripping off working families and robbing them of a decent living.'


The protest is scheduled from 10 a.m. until noon Friday.


There are also more protests planned across the country with almost 1,600 expected.
