'Delusional, dangerous' man who killed three in Florida home busted in Tennessee

A 'delusional' Florida man who allegedly killed three people inside a Florida home was found out of state after an hours-long manhunt, authorities said.

Police had David Smith, 27, surrounded at an undisclosed location on Tuesday, after he fatally shot two women and a man inside a Lakefront house over the weekend, police told WFTV.

Authorities had been searching for Smith, who they believed stole his father's car after the attack, since the bodies were found.

'He is armed. He's dangerous. He is paranoid. he's delusional,' Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd told reporters.

'We know he has some quotes on his Facebook page, such as, 'I hate evil and I will not allow it on my earth.''

Judd said Smith also wrote about an 'adulterous wife,' but he is not married.

Police were called to the scene after a 14-year-old girl found her mother dead inside the house, Judd said.

Once cops went inside, they spotted two other bodies - a man and a woman.

The victims were not immediately identified, but authorities said Smith was related to one of them.

Investigators say they believe the suspected killer, who had stopped taking his medication, is still driving his father's car with the Florida license plate number 708MDB.

Police urge anyone with information to call 911 or the sheriff's office at (363) 298-6200.
