Amanda Bynes broke her silence about the shocking audio that was sent to TMZ.com on Saturday, Nov. 15. In a series of tweets, the troubled actress said that she doesn't want to murder her dad or slit her mom's wrists, and that she was just joking.
Bynes tweeted, 'I was obviously joking about hurting my family - i straight up don't believe in harming a soul.' [Sic]
In a series of tweets on Saturday afternoon, Bynes said that she spoke in 'jest' in the audio tapes. She explained that she just has an odd sense of humor.
Bynes wrote, 'I said what I said in jest & if you don't understand that then know I'm in therapy to talk about my dad issues and that will solve my concerns with ppl invading my private life. I am one of the most thoughtful girls you'll ever meet so don't read into what I joke about.' [Sic]
Bynes went on to explain that she's one of the 'nicest girls' ever and that she would never harm a soul. She appeared to be coherent during her recent Twitter rant. She also recalled the time she infamously tweeted about wanting rapper Drake to 'murder her vagina.' She explained, 'So take what I say lightly because I am the nicest girl.'
It was reported that family members sent the shocking audio tapes to TMZ on Saturday. They're hoping that someone out there will listen to the tapes and get Bynes the professional help that she most desperately needs.
In the audio, Bynes explained how she wanted to kill her parents. She explained that she would slit her father's wrists. She also went to explain that she would threaten to either kill her mom or slit her wrists. Bynes also said that she would threaten to burn down their house.
This audio tape is just a string of troubling events surrounding her worrisome behavior. Despite the actress' antics both online and off, she was spotted at the 10AK nightclub in West Hollywood on Thursday night.
According to a source, Amanda Bynes wore a t-shirt, bandage dress, platform shoes and a flower crown in her hair. She also debuted a bluer hair color. The source said the actress wore a band-aid on her face and sunglasses on in the club until she left two hours later for club Uber X.
