The incident is sickening. A second American journalist may have been beheaded by the Islamic State. The terrorist group released a video Tuesday apparently showing the beheading of Steven Sotloff. Sotloff was the man who appeared in a video released by the group last month that showed the beheading of another journalist, James Foley. The group had threatened to kill Sotloff next if the U.S. didn't quit its airstrikes in Iraq. In the video, Sotloff, kneeling, says he's 'paying the price' for the U.S. intervention in Iraq with his life. Moments later, a hooded man dressed in black blames Obama before beheading Sotloff. 'I'm back, Obama, and I'm back because of your arrogant foreign policy towards the Islamic State,' the man says. He then takes a knife and slit's Sotloff's throat.
Jim Irsay becomes first NFL owner to be slapped with suspension since 1999
It's not a great day for Jim Irsay. On Tuesday, the Colts owner pleaded guilty to a charge of driving while intoxicated and was sentenced to probation for a year. For the next year, Irsay can't drive, drink alcohol and he has to submit monthly drug testing. Hours after pleading guilty, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell wasted no time handing the Colts owner a six-game suspension and a $500,000 fine. The suspension begins at 5 p.m. ET on Wednesday, four days before Irsay's team kicks off the regular season with a game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday night. The fine is the max allowed under NFL rules.
Apple says celebs' nude photo leak wasn't because of iCloudThe big Apple says don't blame them. After nude photos of celebrities were leaked on Sunday in a massive invasion of privacy, people started getting really freaked that it was because of iCloud. In a statement on Tuesday, Apple says its services including iCloud and Find My Phone were not breached. The company said certain celeb accounts were compromised using 'a very targeted attack' on user names, passwords and security questions. 'We are continuing to work with law enforcement to help identify the criminals involved,' Apple said. Who still wants to purge their cloud?
Mega-hack alert. A massive batch of credit and debit card information went on sale on a criminal Internet site Tuesday and it may be from Home Depot. Security experts said it could be the same hackers responsible for the Target breach. The data put up for sale were labeled 'American Sanctions,' which has some speculating that the breach may be payback for U.S. and European sanctions against Russia for all the trouble they've been stirring up in Ukraine. Home Depot isn't saying much. A spokeswoman said she could only 'confirm that we're looking into some unusual activity.'

Third American doctor contracts deadly Ebola virus
The biggest Ebola outbreak in history is really taking its toll on doctors. A third American aid worker has been diagnosed with the deadly disease. The missionary group SIM USA announced Tuesday that one of its American doctors treating pregnant women has been diagnosed in Liberia. As soon as he developed symptoms he knew what to do and isolated himself. Another aid worker with SIM USA, Nancy Writebol, also became infected with Ebola while working in Liberia. She was flown to the U.S. for treatment with one of the few doses of an experimental medication, ZMapp, and survived. Think good thoughts for the doc. And for West Africa.
