A student was shot and the gunman was taken into custody Tuesday morning at a North Carolina high school, according to reports.
The shooting happened around 7:30 a.m. at Albemarle High School, some 40 miles east of Charlotte, WSOC-TV reported. The student's condition is unknown.
The school is on lockdown. It's unclear if the shooter was a student.
The gunman has been apprehended, according to the station.
