Ivan Schneider, a Manhattan lawyer, bought a convertible Jaguar about 46 years ago and lost it. It was a luxury car that the lawyer owned out of the many others on which he would go for a fast drive with his companion. The Jaguar was also the only one out of the lawyer's cars that was ever stolen.
Now that 46 years have passed an analyst from the US Customs and Border Patrol, who was having a routine check of a stolen car, has found it out putting California Highway Patrol investigators as well as National Insurance Crime Bureau on to work. The report of the March 1968 incident still remained with the New York Police.
Michael Maleta, CHP investigator, spoke to Schneider. The lawyer thought they were having a prank with him. Maleta said that they convinced him and then he became excited.
Schneider spoke to bberitaa.blogspot.com and said that he was in love with the car and thought it the most prettiest.
