8:00 PM ET - Roethlisberger is famous for making something out of nothing in the passing game and it will be important for the Ravens secondary to be alert at all times especially with cornerback Lardarius Webb inactive for the second week in a row for the Ravens.
7:54 PM ET - On defense, the Ravens played very well for most of the game against the Bengals given the circumstances. The Ravens defense was put in bad spots as the team had to deal with short fields and still managed to hold the Bengals offense to five field goals. The deciding factor for the Ravens against the Steelers will be the Ravens defense controlling the line of scrimmage against the Steelers offense. Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is feeling comfortable on offense with offensive coordinator Todd Haley calling the plays.

7:45 PM ET - Ravens running back Justin Forsett wants to take advantage of the opportunity especially with Rice gone as he explained via Baltimoreravens.com.
7:39 PM ET - 'My job is to go out and perform when my number is called. I'm just excited about the opportunity. I thank God for it, and hopefully there will be some great things to come on Thursday night.'
With the progress the Ravens are trying to make in the passing game, the running game will always be a talking point for the team. The Ravens understand that they didn't run the ball enough and often in week 1. In week 2 against the Steelers, the Ravens have to establish the run and take care of a Steelers defense which allowed 183 yards to the Cleveland Browns last week.

7:28 PM ET - The Ravens also had issues on offense with the fact that the team dealt with so many dropped passes by wide receivers in Steve Smith, Torrey Smith, Jacoby Jones and tight end Dennis Pitta. During the game against the Bengals, Torrey Smith had issues running routes in the middle of the field and didn't have a feel for what Flacco wanted to do with the ball in the passing game. Despite that Flacco has great confidence in Torrey Smith.
'Torrey is a 1,000-yard receiver and he's a 100-catch guy,' Flacco said noted via Baltimoreravens.com. Torrey Smith is known around the league for his speed down the field. In Kubiak's offense, Smith is going to be asked to do more.
'It's not going to be running by guys and catching home runs over the top and all the things that he does really, really well, because he has that talent. It's going to be those little things,' Flacco continued via Baltimoreravens.com. 'It's going to be the 5-yard catches that he turns into 12-yard gains. It's going to be the 5-yard catches and he gets tackled. Those are the things that are going to take him from however many catches he had last year to being a 100-reception guy.'

7:20 PM ET - Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco threw the football 62 times in week 1. It doesn't matter if a quarterback is one of the best or one of the worst in the NFL. Throwing the football 62 times isn't a recipe for success.
7:10 PM ET - The Ravens lost to the Cincinnati Bengals in week 1 at home last week and the Ravens are trying to find their identity very early in the season. The Ravens offense looked lost against the Bengals especially in the first half under offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak's west coast offense. It wasn't until the second half of the game where the Ravens offense took off to score 16 points. However, it wasn't enough to beat the Bengals.
