Comedian Joan Rivers has been moved out of intensive care, her daughter said Wednesday. 'My mother has been moved out of intensive care and into a private room where she is being kept comfortable. Thank you for your continued support,' Melissa Rivers said in a statement. The update came a day after she said the comedy legend, 81, was 'still on life support.'
Rivers stopped breathing while undergoing a procedure on her vocal cords last Thursday at a New York clinic and was transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital. Melissa Rivers flew from California with her 13-year-old son, Cooper, to be by her side.
Rivers is currently a co-host of the show 'Fashion Police.'
