A wildfire scorched hundreds of acres near Yosemite National Park in California, leaving one person injured and forcing the evacuation of 700 homes.
The Bridge Wildfire in Mariposa County has burned 300 acres since it started Friday afternoon.
It was uncontained by early Saturday, fire officials said.
Authorities directed evacuees to local Red Cross shelters.
