TWC News: City, Nation Mark 13 Years Since September 11th AttacksPlay now
Today marks 13 years since the September 11th terror attacks.
The city and the nation will pause to remember those who died at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
Family members of the victims of the 2001 and 1993 attacks on the Twin Towers will gather at the 9/11 Memorial Plaza in Lower Manhattan to read the names of those lost.

Moments of silence will also be observed at the time when the second plane hit the South Tower, at the times each tower fell, and when the attacks on the Pentagon and in Shanksville occurred.
President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, and Vice President Joe Biden will observe a moment of silence during a wreath-laying ceremony at the Pentagon.
A memorial service is also being held in Shanksville, Pennsylvania at the site where United Flight 93 crashed.
This marks the first year the National September 11th Memorial and Museum is open at the site of the tragedy.
