It is not that Kate Upton was ever afraid to put pictures of her perfect-ten blonde bombshell body out there for all the world to see, but the supermodel sex-pot put it off indefinitely due to the trollish gossip of the internet.
During an interview with men's magazine, Details, Upton explained that if she were to pose for some artistic nudes in any publication, within no time the villains of the intrawebs would dump all over it (via Home Tome Life):
'For me those photos are art. Your body is art, your body is beautiful, and to be photographed in that way is amazing and it's received in a very positive way.
'But with social media and the Internet and not so great blogs and the attention like that, I don't think that my pictures would be received in the way that I'd want them to be received.
'That's why I've stayed away from them. I really appreciate those photos and I think those women are beautiful, but I think social media and the Internet has prevented me from putting myself out there like that.'
That is why in light of all the recent nudes leaked to the internet, Upton has announced through her reps that she will be taking anyone associated with displaying her private photos to court.
Surprisingly, that wasn't enough to scare off St. Petersburg, Florida based gallery owner Cory Allen form cancelling his XVALA planned exhibit, which has publically announced their intent to show off the images as art.
Mr. Allen explained to the LA Weekly that he and the artist are hoping to avoid any legal ramifications by tweaking the pictures that they legally obtained over the internet (via Washington Post):
'We're not sharing or posting the images--the artist is creating art out of the images.
'I hope we don't need an attorney... I'm taking them off the Internet and putting them into a new medium that is transformative.
'I'll be using them as commentary.'
Yes...and it seems like that commentary is: I want to be sued by the highest priced of Hollywood's lawyers.
