Activist Irom Sharmila, who was released on August 21, has been re-arrested according to TV reports.
Police entered her make-shift shelter and forcibly picked her up.
When she was released on Wednesday, she told reporters that she will continue her fast. In the past she had continued her fast soon after being released. Section 309 IPC, under which she is detained, empowers the authority to detain her for one year. At the end of each year she is ritually released.
