A bride and groom from Aloha, Ore., made their vows at speed before they were forced to flee from a raging wildfire that made their wedding photos look like a war zone.

Michael Wolber and April Hartley were about to get married at Rock Springs Ranch, near Bend, when the Two Bulls wildfire plumed behind the party and firefighters raced towards them waving evacuation plans.

'It was like a movie. We saw a fire truck roll up with sirens blaring,' Wolber told the Oregonian.

The tearful bride was told the ceremony would have to be relocated but the fire crew allowed them a little more time as long as the ceremony was cut short.

Wedding minister Liz Leavitt zipped through the vows and wedding photographer Josh Newton took amazing photographs of the couple with the blaze sparking before the wedding party made a sharp exit for a breakfast at Bend's Drake Park.

'I've had a lot of surprises, being in ministry,' Leavitt said. 'But I have to say: I've never had this happen before.'

'The location change didn't affect the wedding at all. It was the most beautiful day,' Newton wrote on Facebook.

Wolber, who lives in Aloha and works with his new wife at Nike, called it: 'The most beautiful ceremony either of us could have ever imagined.'

The newlyweds are now relaxing on their honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico.
