ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. - There was a heavy police presence east of Westminster on Wednesday morning after reports of a homicide with multiple victims in the area.
There was a large continent of Adams County law enforcement agents near the intersection of Broadway and Cragmore Street, which is just northwest of the intersection of I-25 and U.S. 36.
Shortly before 8:30 a.m., emergency scanner traffic indicated there was a triple homicide in the area and police were in the process of developing a perimeter as they searched for a suspect. While Adams County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Terrance O'Neill confirmed there were multiple victims found in a home on Cragmore Street, he did not specify the number.
O'Neill also said deputies were on the lookout for a person of interest, who is believed to be driving a Jeep Wrangler with a hard top. O'Neill was unable to provide any license plate information on the vehicle.
O'Neill did not name the person of interest, but said he was a Hispanic male with full sleeve tattoos.
