Ed Sheeran and Pharrell Williams kicked off the 57th annual Grammy Awards nominations by unveiling contenders in four categories on 'CBS This Morning' on Friday. Both acts heard their names called on Friday, too.
Between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. ET more categories will be announced online and via Twitter.
Nominees for the biggest Grammy category, album of the year, will be announced on 'A Very Grammy Christmas,' set to air at 9 p.m. ET on CBS. The holiday special will feature performances by some previous Grammy winners and potential 2015 Grammy nominees, including Sam Smith, Ariana Grande, Big Sean, Mary J. Blige, Maroon5, Pharrell Williams and Tim McGraw.
Former Grammys host LL Cool J will emcee the one-hour special. The Grammys really do love LL -- he's hosted the ceremony the last two years.
Winners for the 2015 Grammy Awards will be announced Feb. 8 on CBS.
