'The time has gone and these people don't know that even the misguided youth have started feeling the burden of AK-47 and he wants to get rid of it so as to hold Android One in his hands,' Modi said addressing a 50,000 strong rally here this afternoon.
'We want to expose youth of the state to the power of Android One...We want to give in their hands the power of a computer...We want to give in their hands the power to write new dreams,' he said amidst repeated applause from the general public.
He also asked the people to rise above regional, religious or cast politics. 'We are one and we have come here to promote new politics - the politics of development,' he said.
Modi also too a dig at Congress, National Conference and the PDP for the present state of affairs in Jammu Kashmir. Accusing Congress of playing opportunist politics only to remain in power, he called for bringing an end to the two-family-politics for betterment of the state.
Asking people to ensure that none of the Congress candidate gets elected in the assembly polls, Modi appealed them to vote a majority government in the state for all round progress and development. 'Otherwise a coalition government jeeps busy only to save its government than Woking for welfare of the people.
He also congratulated the people of Jammu Kashmir for massive polling during the first two phases of assembly elections, saying that they have shown the world that ballot was stronger than AK-47 bullets. They have also sent a message to people elsewhere the country who don't vote that while they weep sitting in their houses despite peaceful environment, they turn up to exercise their right of franchise under the shower of bullets, he added.
Modi appealed the people to turn up in equally huge numbers during the next phases of elections as security forces have sacrificed a lot to keep their democracy intact. 'Do not allow their sacrifices go waste,' he added.
