Brian Williams slow jams the news on 'Tonight Show'

Brian Williams celebrated his 10th anniversary as NBC Nightly News anchor with a little slow jamming.

The journalist gave fans a treat Tuesday by participating in Jimmy Fallon's 'Slow Jam the News' sketch on 'The Tonight Show.'

'Hello, I'm Brian Williams of 'NBC Nightly News' and ladies and gentlemen, I too wish to slow jam this news.'

The duo went on to drop a beat about the immigration debate and Williams even paid tribute to one Fallon's famous mash-ups of his broadcasts to Sir Mix-a-Lot's 'Baby Got Back.'

'My Pres Obama don't want none until you pass bills hon,' he rapped to the beat of the classic tune.

Fallon congratulated Williams on his anniversary by joking he has been 'hosting the 16th hour of the 'Today' show' for the last 10 years.

'Excuse me Jimmy, how long have you been behind your desk?' he fired back.

'10 months,' Fallon sheepishly responded.

He then called Williams 'Peter Pan Senior,' making a joke reference to his daughter Allison Williams' anticipated performance as the boy who never grew up on 'Peter Pan Live!' Thursday on NBC.
