In 2012, Nik Wallenda became famous when he successfully walked on a tightrope across Niagara Falls and continued to undertake dangerous tightrope walks across the Grand Canyon and various city skyscrapers. And tonight at 7pm on The Discovery Channel, he will further shock the world when he attempts to do the same thing across two Chicago skyscrapers - with a blindfold on, and at a 15-degree upward incline.
Wallenda sat down for an interview with the Today Show hosts where he said this is another exciting chapter in his life, regardless of the fact that he's putting his life in danger. Asked which part scares him the most - the incline or the blindfold - Wallenda said it's the blindfold because it takes away his sense of 'vision and focus.'
It will be in the low 40s in the Windy City tonight with a zero percent chance of rain and 14 mph winds.
