Middletown, Conn. (WTNH) - Governor Malloy was one of the Hartford voters that had to wait to cast his ballot today. Now that he lives in the Governor's mansion he got to vote for himself for the first time at the nearby polling station in the city's west end.
It turned out to be one of the places that didn't have the list of voters needed to begin the voting process. He had to wait about a half hour. Four years ago, he voted in Stamford.

Tom Foley voted near his home in Greenwich hoping that the second time is the charm. Foley has been predicting since last week that he will win tonight by four or five percentage points. Public opinion polls indicate that who ever wins it'll be much closer than that.
Middletown voters at the Moody School were lined up outside before the polls opened at 6:00 a.m. and it has been a steady, moderate to heavy flow of voters all day. Many people told us the decision was tough.
'I did make the decision at the last minute. I like the plank of Tom Foley but he wasn't demonstrated as trustworthy as a candidate in my opinion,' said Ken Archer.
But it also appears that the Malloy campaign's 'class war-fare strategy has worked with some voters.
'The way I see it Mr. Foley is looking out for the rich. The poor people he don't care nothing about,' said Jimmie Washington.
People that told us they voted for Tom Foley said it was an easy choice.
'Foley! and why? The taxes are too high for single adult living in Connecticut trying to maintain a home,' said Beverly Vance.
'I voted for Mr. Foley, I think it's good words; hope and change involved in the election, said Paul Swanson. When asked 'when did you make your decision?' Swanson replied, 'I made it early.'
