After back-to-back losses to ranked conference opponents, the Utah Utes (6-3) slid to No. 25 in the Associated Press poll, but fell out of Coaches' top-25 rankings.
Utah, which lost 51-27 to Oregon late Saturday night, received 87 points, good enough for the final place in the AP. Meanwhile, the Utes tumbled all the way to 28th place in the USA Today Coaches poll. The Ducks moved up the No. 3 spot in the AP (No. 4 in Coaches). Arizona State, a team that narrowly beat the Utes the week prior, climbed to the No. 7 (No. 8 in Coaches) spot.
Colorado State (No. 23 and 25) claimed a spot in the both polls for the first time and is only Mountain West team to be ranked.
