LONDON, Nov 7 (Reuters) - Police in Britain shot a man discovered attempting to eat a murdered woman in a Welsh hotel with a stun gun, the Independent newspaper reported on Friday, saying the man later died. Welsh police said they were called to an incident at a hotel in Argoed, a village 160 miles (260 km) west of London, after reports of a man attacking a woman. Police shot the man with a Taser and he died, police said. A murder investigation is underway into the death of the woman, police said. Many of the details of the incident were not immediately clear, but the matter has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission. A spokesman for the Welsh police declined further comment. (Reporting by Guy Faulconbridge; Editing by Andrew Osborn)
