PanARMENIAN.Net - U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said on Saturday, Nov 8, that there was no link between talks on Iran's nuclear program and other issues in the Middle East, according to Reuters.
The United States has already rejected a proposal floated by Iranian officials in which Tehran would cooperate in the fight against Islamic State forces in exchange for flexibility on its nuclear program.
Meanwhile, according to a RIA Novosti report, on the sidelines of the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in Beijing, Kerry and Lavrov discussed the situation in Syria and the U.S. agreed with Russia's thesis that during the talks with the country's government and opposition should be represented by a group, formed of various coalitions.
