With Announcement Of 2015 'On the Road Again' Tour, Demand For One ...

It hasn't even been two months since One Direction's 'Where We Are' Tour ended, but the band is preparing to hit the road again. New concert dates have been announced for a 2015 summer tour. The 'On The Road Again' Tour will have now have dates in Europe in mid-June before heading to the U.S. for 17 announced dates through September. Australian and Asian dates starting in February had previously been announced. One Direction tickets for the newly announced dates will have a presale On October 24 with a general on sale on November 1.


The tour will again be hitting stadiums across the country like this past summer's 'Where We Are' Tour. The band will be playing a few of the same stadiums they did during 'Where We Are' including Gillette Stadium, MetLife Stadium and Lincoln Financial Field. However, many of the stops on upcoming tour are new such as Santa Clara's Levi's Stadium, Seattle's CenturyLink FIeld and Columbus' Ohio Stadium, which has a capacity over 104,000.



On the secondary market, One Direction tickets for the 'Where We Are' Tour had an average price of $138.52, according to TiqIQ. One of the most expensive dates on the tour came at Nationals Park, the only baseball stadium played on the tour. Next summer, 'On The Road Again' will travel to Miller Park in Milwaukee as the only baseball stadium currently scheduled. As was the case with the initial onsale for 'Where We Are,' secondary market ticket prices are likely to skyrocket around the initial on sale. Face price tickets for the concerts range depending on the venue. The North American dates of the tour are scheduled to start July 9 at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego and end September 12 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
