Recently, a new term called 'Fearbola', a combination of the words 'fear' and Ebola is being used to describe the situation in America considering the epidemic that has claimed the lives of thousands of people not only in Africa but around the world. The U.S. government has announced that there might be a 3rd Ebola patient in Dallas, Texas. The fear of the virus has become even more evident than ever.

SBS reported that some schools in Texas, and the state of Ohio have gone into temporary have temporarily closed down because of rumors about school faculty or students had entered the United States with other Ebola patients or that they might have traveled to West African countries where the virus is most prevalent. The mayor of the city of Tallmadge in Ohio told reporters that the state government would do anything to help residents to be safe from the epidemic.

The situation in Dallas, Texas is just as serious. SBS reported that Dallas residents are expressing a great deal of anxiety of additional citizens being contaminated with the Ebola virus, because of the fact that 2 previous Ebola patients were nurses who used to work at local Dallas hospital.

There are only 2 patients that have been confirmed to have Ebola, but the whole nation is under a great deal of fear of the virus spreading even further. In fact, the Texas State government is also reported to be considering declaring a state of emergency to prevent further contaminations.

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) admitted that they had not been able to respond to the seriousness of the virus properly, and U.S. President Barrack Obama recently signed an agreement to dispatch some additional reserved troops to West Africa to assist the medical and military personnel who are already working with African Ebola patients.

Asia Economic reported that President Obama has appointed Ron Klain, the Chief of Staff for the Office of the Vice President as the new 'Ebola Czar', the man who will be overseeing all of America's strategies to tackle the Ebola epidemic. It is believed that Klain will be working alongside the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) to fill up any loop holes that may have allowed American citizens and other people to be contaminated by the virus.

President Obama however, has shown rather negative responses to the proposal that the administration should install regulations on travelling to Africa.

Meanwhile, the 'Fearbola' has been spreading at a much more rapid rate than the virus itself. A few weeks ago, Europe has announced that the first European has been found to have the disease, and only last week, Brazil announced that one of their citizens who had returned from a trip from Liberia showed some distinct Ebola symptoms. Despite the morality rate of the virus now reaching 70 percent, many global leaders including Obama have expressed that the world is just not doing enough.
