The MMA fighter and former MTV reality show host barricaded himself in his Mission Viejo home while tweeting the developments of the incident before he was arrested.

According to the sheriff's deputies in Orange County, they went to Miller's home Thursday at around 9:50 a.m. to arrest him on grounds of stalking charges and domestic violence.

However, when they arrived at his house, Miller locked himself in and refused to come out, according to Sheriff Department's officer, Lt. Mark Kiernan.

SWAT officers were then called to the scene, and by 2 p.m., they broke through Millers front door and the MMA star surrendered.

The SWAT led Miller, who was sporting a magenta mohawk, out his house in handcuffs.

Meanwhile, Miller's personal Twitter account was full of updates regarding how the incident was happening.

In one of his tweets, he gave his followers his address and asked them to come if they wanted to see how the 'drama unfolds.'

Miller also tweeted the L.A. Times, saying the event was 'despicable,' adding that they were treating him as if he was Bin Laden.

Some of his tweets explained how he should have been in court but he slept in.

'I respect the police, but this is overkill, for something that would be settled with one piece of paperwork from OCBAIL,' said one of his tweets. He added that he did not wish any harm on the deputies.

Miller's friends, who were also mixed martial artists and some of his neighbors, were outside his home urging him to surrender.

One neighbor, who was behind the police line encouraging Miller to surrender, said she was worried about how the event would unfold. According to her, the former MTV host would come out either handcuffed or bagged.

Miller, 33, has had previous encounters with the law. In August 2012, he was arrested for an alleged burglary in an Orange County church.
