Christina Aguilera Returning to The Voice, Season 8

Original Voice coach, Christiana Aguilera will be returning to The Voice when the show returns next year for its 8th season.

Aguilera recently delivered a baby girl, Summer Rain Rutler, back in August with fiancé, Matthew Rutler. Season 5 was the last time viewers saw Aguilera in the red judge chair.

She will be replacing Gwen Stefani.

According to EOnline, NBC is excited to have Aguilera back on The Voice, aren't we all excited now.

'We are excited to welcome Christina back to her red chair and can't wait to see how she mixes things up among Adam, Blake and Pharrell, in what will be an incredibly competitive competition,' Paul Telegdy, president of alternative and late night programming at NBC Entertainment, said in a statement. 'These four talented artists are at the top of their game as musicians and as coaches. The mentoring is sure to be intense and the stakes will be high.'

Also returning to The Voice will be Pharrell Williams. Williams will be making history as the first non-original Voice judge to return to the show in consecutive seasons.

Blake Shelton and Adam Levine are set to return as well.

Previous Voice judges include international superstars, Usher, Shakira and Cee-lo Green.

Season 8 lineup was announce by the show's host Carson Daily earlier Tuesday Morning on NBC's Today.

The Voice is currently airing Mondays and Tuesdays 8/7c on NBC.
