Jeannette Price Jones, 88, of Salem, Va., passed away on Monday, October 20, 2014. She worked as a Nurse and Medical Assistant for Dr. Esther C. Brown.She was a strong woman and led by example with her strong Christian faith.Children who survive her are, Kathy Collins of Covington, Va., Jimmie Jones of Olive Branch, Miss., Henry 'Buddy' Jones of Chesapeake, Va. Also surviving is her brother, Norman Price of Davis, Calif.; grandchildren include, Cam Young, Lindsay Huffman, Caroline Cameron, Ginger Wray Seay, Nick Jones, Amanda Jones, Dr. Ryan Jones, Chris Jones and Megan Jones; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.She now joins her husband of 56 years of marriage,James Eugene 'Jimmy' Jones; daughter, Judy Young Huffman; parents, Toby and Elizabeth Fisher Price; sister, Pearl Elkins; and a brother, Rodney Price, that have welcomed her to Heaven.A Graveside Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2014, at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem, Va. The Rev. Gary Kingery will officiate. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donations to the charity of your choice in memory of Jeannette P. Jones.
