A military plane has crashed in a Southern California neighborhood, igniting at least one home and causing an unknown amount of damage to others.
The pilot of the aircraft was able to eject just before the collision in Imperial Valley, San Diego County Wednesday afternoon, officials with the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar tweeted just before 6 p.m. PDT.
Photos at the scene showed one house in flames. Two or three additional homes were also impacted, NBC San Diego reported.
It's not immediately known if there are any injuries.
