Failed Senate candidate arrested for perjury, election fraud

Senate hopeful Annette Bosworth seems to be having a rough go of it since South Dakota's primary on Tuesday night.


Bosworth turned herself into authorities Wednesday afternoon shortly after state Attorney General Marty Jacky issued a warrant for her arrest on perjury and election fraud charges, reports the Argus Leader in Sioux Falls.


This comes after Bosworth was informed on national TV during an interview on Fox News that she lost the Senate GOP nomination to former governor Mike Rounds.
