The above video is aerial helicopter footage from the scene; no audio. A mother and her toddler son jumped from the second story of a burning apartment complex at the Forest Acres Apartments in Haverhill, Massachusetts on Wednesday. A detective said the toddler seemed alert and that he and his mom were transported to Lawrence General Hospital. Their conditions are not known at this time.The 3-alarm fire broke out around 1 p.m. at the Forest Acres Apartments. It quickly spread to a wooded area behind the complex. The apartment complex is located near routes 125 and 495, just south of the Merrimack River.
