St. Pius Students Celebrate Pi Day

Bulletin Board: A Post From the Community

St. Pius math students celebrated Pi Day on Friday, March 14.

What is Pi Day? Pi is defined as the distance around a perfect circle or the circumference divided by the diameter. The mathematical constant is approximately equal to 3.14 which is why the day is celebrated on March 14th. Students commemorated the day by calculating circumferences of different sizes of circles and competing in pi themed competitions.
