SEE IT: Kevin Bacon reenacts 'Footloose' dance 30 years later in 'Tonight Show ...

It might be 30 years since 'Footloose' hit theaters, but Kevin Bacon has still got it.

The 55-year-old star of 'The Following' appeared on the 'Tonight Show' on Friday night and he showed off some of his old moves from the 1984 classic.

Before introducing Bacon, host Jimmy Fallon declared that dancing had been outlawed on 'The Tonight Show,' echoing the plot of the teen classic, where a small Midwestern town has banned dancing as part of their morality code.

'Rules are rules guys. No Dancing!' Fallon said, reading from an official-looking scroll as the audience booed.

Cut to Bacon backstage, baffled by the proclamation.

'Jump back. This is the 'Tonight Show,' there has to be dancing,' Bacon said.

And to prove it, the actor launched into a series of acrobatic moves, many of them the same that his character Ren McCormack did in the movie.

As he danced, Bacon picked up a group of young women to accompany him before heading out to the 'Tonight Show' stage. As confetti fell on the group, Fallon came out to greet Bacon and tore up the 'No Dancing' scroll.

'Dancing is now legal on 'The Tonight Show,' thanks to Kevin Bacon!' Fallon announced.
