Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez defeats Alfredo Angulo by TKO in 10th round

After a Saturday night in which all of the pay-per-view undercards went the distance, it was expected that the main event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas would not make the scheduled 12 rounds.

The two participants in the main event are both punchers with something to prove, with each having lost their last fight.

Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (42-1-1) lost a conclusive decision to Floyd Mayweather while Alfredo Angulo (22-3) lost a difficult technical knockout to Erislandy Lara. While Alvarez is a 7-1 favorite, Angulo has knocked out 18 of his 25 opponents, giving him a puncher's chance in this fight.

The people who will be ringside deciding the outcome are judges Dave Moretti, Jerry Roth and Craig Metcalfe. The referee is Tony Weeks.
