Recap: Seattle vs. Chicago Cubs

Peoria, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Ty Kelly's RBI single in the bottom of the 10th inning gave the Seattle Mariners an 8-7 win over the Chicago Cubs in Cactus League play.


John Buck tied the game for Seattle with a two-run single to left in a three- run ninth inning.


Randy Wolf gave up a pair of solo homers in his four-inning start for the Mariners, who received a home run and two RBI from Brad Miller and two hits and an RBI from Robinson Cano.


Mike Olt went 3-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI, John Baker drove in three runs and Javier Baez added a solo blast for the Cubs, whose starter, James McDonald, gave up two runs on two hits and five walks over 2 2/3 innings.

Top prospect Javier Baez homered and roster hopeful Mike Olt homered twice and drove in three runs, but the Chicago Cubs fell to the Seattle Mariners 8-7 in 10 innings Wednesday night.
