08.14 Gerrie Nel, for the prosecution, begins questioning Mr Baba.
08.10 Barry Roux is showing the Judge and Mr Baba the statement he made to police after the murder.
In it, Mr Baba says Pistorius told him that he was OK.
That differs from Mr Baba's testimony that Pistorius said 'Everything is OK'.
08.04 Pieter Baba, the security guard, says:
If Mr Pistorius called me first, I would have known something was wrong.
My Lady, I called Mr Pistorius, and Mr Pistorius told me 'everything is fine.' But I realised Mr Pistorius was crying.
Barry Roux appears to be trying to discredit Mr Baba's version of events - and sow seeds of doubt about Mr Baba's recollection that Pistorius said 'Everything is fine'.
Mr Roux keeps on insisting that the phrase was 'I am fine'.
07.56 Speaking through a translator, Pieter Baba says that Pistorius called him at 3.21am and was crying.
Mr Baba says he called Pistorius first, and then Pistorius called him back.
Barry Roux, Pistorius's lawyer, disputes that - and insists that records show that Pistorius called him first.
Oscar Pistorius arrives at court on Monday
07.42 The court is now resuming hearing from the security guard, Pieter Baba.
He is being questioned by Barry Roux, defence lawyer for Pistorius, who is earning a reputation for being a tough interrogator.
On Friday, Mr Baba said that Pistorius told him 'everything was fine' when he was alerted in the early hours of Valentine's Day.
07.39 Judge Thokozile Masipa is opening the proceedings.
She is saying that two of the witnesses from last week have been attacked on social media for giving testimony. She says that no photographs of the witnesses should be published during the trial.
This court has a duty to protect those witnesses, where possible to do so.
07.32 For a recap of the opening week, have a look at our South Africa correspondent Aislinn Laing's take of the first five days.
Hero and villain ... a week in the trial of Oscar Pistorius
Little over a year ago, he was a hero for many young South Africans - a poster boy for achievement about whom they were frequently taught in school.
Today, as he stands in the dock having shot dead his girlfriend on St Valentine's Day last year, he is the suspect in the country's most sensational murder trial.
07.31 So as we enter week two of Oscar Pistorius's trial for the murder of Reeva Steenkamp, the accused has just entered court.
As last week, he is smartly dressed in a dark suit and tie, and looking composed as he walks determinedly through the throng of cameras.
07.30 GMT London, 09.30 SAST Pretoria Good morning and welcome to our live coverage of the Oscar Pistorius trial.
