After going 34-0 in the regular season, many thought Wichita State got the toughest region among the top seeds in the NCAA Tournament.
The road back to the Final Four ended Sunday, when eighth-seeded Kentucky, which finished second in the SEC tournament and regular season, put together a 40-minute effort and held off the Shockers 78-76 to move on to the Sweet Sixteen.
