The shooting guard jokes about the Lakers' current form
Kobe Bryant once again joked about the Lakers' current run of form. The shooting guard believes that the US President, Barack Obama would be good enough to play in the current Lakers team. 'He could play in this squad,' he said on Dan Patrick's chat show.
The US head of state is a huge basketball fan and fanatical Chicago Bulls fans. He shoots hoops whenever he has the chance (he built a regulation size court at the back of the White House) and, according to those who have played with him, he's quite good.
It is just one of the many messages that Kobe has sent out in the past few days about the franchise and its current poor form. The shooting guard has been critical of the team's coach, Mike D'Antoni, and has sent complaints and recommendations to the franchise's offices ahead of next season.
