Justin Bieber is smug, insolent in lawyer deposition

Justin Bieber was less than thrilled to answer a lawyer's questions in a deposition sitting last week.

The deposition, which took place on Thursday in Miami, happened in connection to the lawsuit brought against the pop star's bodyguard by a photographer claiming Bieber ordered violence against paparazzi.

'I don't have to listen to anything you have to say,' Bieber, 19, is heard telling an attorney - in a videotape obtained by TMZ.

Throughout the video clips the singer is seen and heard being contemptuous and condescending as questions are asked of him.

Later he smugly answers 'guess what? I do not recall' to a question he doesn't want to answer.

In another clip Bieber shuts down - and gets angry - when asked about Selena Gomez, but not before he surprisingly answers 'yes,' when asked if he loves her.

The 'Boyfriend' singer's attorney blasts the other lawyer for bringing up Gomez, 20, and Bieber eventually declares, 'don't ask me about her again.'

By the end of the exchange Bieber and his lawyer - who accused the other attorney of 'harassment' - stormed out of the room.

At another point in the 4-hour-long questionnaire the pop star winks at the camera and laughs. He even later calls the probing lawyer Katie Couric.

'This seems like a 60 Minutes interview,' Bieber quips.

Then, in another clip posted to the gossip site, the 'All That Matters' star mocks the lawyer for bringing up his mentor Usher.

'Yeah, the name sounds familiar,' he says. 'I was found on YouTube, I think that I was detrimental to my own career.'

Bieber clarifies that he meant instrumental, not detrimental.
