Matt Lauer (right) interviews Dottie Sandusky, the wife of former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky, for the 'Today' show.
The wife of convicted child molester Jerry Sandusky wants people to know that she stands by her husband - even as he stands behind bars.
'I know who I am. And I know who Jerry is. And I know he did not do the horrible crimes that he's convicted of,' Dottie Sandusky said in an interview for NBC's 'Today' show.

The former Penn State assistant football coach, 70, has been in a maximum security prison since June 2012 when he was found guilty on 45 of 48 charges of sexual abuse of young boys over the course of 15 years.
He was sentenced to between 30 and 60 years in prison.
Sandusky's eyes welled up with tears as she spoke candidly to 'Today' host Matt Lauer in her State College, Penn., home. She discussed the changes she has seen in her husband since his incarceration.
'A friend had written to him and asked him what he missed - what did he take most for granted - and he said family meals, fun time with the grandkids playing ball, (and) doing special things with friends,'' she said.
Sandusky also wants to disabuse people of the notion that she is a vulnerable person who was preyed upon by a sexual predator.
'I'm not a weak spouse. As you know, my name - they call me 'Sarge' because Jerry said I kept everybody in line. If they want to say that, let them say that.'
