Uh oh!
We're experiencing a few technical issues.
Try again
Fans who were trying to watch the much-anticipated finale of True Detective on Sunday night using HBO GO, the cable network's online streaming service, were not happy.
It crashed. All they got was a spinning circle on a black screen.
HBO GO, which usually airs episodes in real time, requires a login and password, and apparently there were just too many logins and passwords being used just as the 9 p.m. hour hit on the East Coast.
HBO GO acknowledged the problem, tweeting, 'Due to overwhelmingly popular demand for #TrueDetective, we've been made aware of an issue affecting some users. Please try again soon.'

Some fans joked about it on Twitter, calling it HBO No Go and more. Others were just plain bummed. And many watched it on TV and had no problem.
