(NECN: John Moroney) - Neiman Marcus is the latest victim of a cyber-attack.The high-end retailer says hackers stole payment card information from an unknown number of customers, making unauthorized purchases over the holiday shopping season.Neiman Marcus representatives say the company's credit card processor notified them about the potential breach in mid-December. A subsequent investigation found there had indeed been a cyber-security intrusion. It's the second cyber-attack on a national retailer in recent weeks. Target disclosed Friday that its massive data theft before Christmas was significantly more extensive than previously believed. It's not clear how many Neiman Marcus customers were affected. Target now says the accounts of as many as 70 million customers may have been compromised, with hackers stealing personal information including names, phone numbers, email and mailing addresses.
