If you noticed that the weather outside is getting frightful, it's because the same winter storm that left Dallas in a deep freeze earlier this week is coming to the East Coast today. From the National Weather Service:
Snow is expected to overspread the spread by later this afternoon. The snow will mix with sleet tonight, then change to freezing rain during the overnight hours. The wintry precipitation is the forecast to change to plain rain Monday morning.
Temperatures in our area will stay in the 20s today before rising back to the 40s tomorrow and the roads are expected to ice over. Great excuse for staying in and being cozy if we've ever heard one.
