Round 2: Another winter storm expected Tuesday morning

Today's early winter storm was mostly sleet and ice. Tomorrow? Snow, two to four inches of it, the National Weather Service says.

Sometime between 4 to 6 a.m Tuesday, the storm will start as a mix of sleet and snow, changing to all snow later in the morning. Snow is expected to continue falling through the afternoon from about 2 to 4 p.m.

Stay tuned to weather forecasts for the latest. Government and courts operating status will be announced later when available.

This is a good time to get your digital preparedness kit ready, and here are a few tips:

Make sure your mobile phone has an electric charger, inverter or solar charger. Know how to use your phone to communicate; for example, using WiFi versus a carrier's network has differences; texting takes less bandwidth than phone calls. Charge your digital camera or buy batteries for your film camera if you need to document storm damage afterwards. Save important phone numbers to your phone.
